Konocti Realty web site goes live

BitSculptor has completed the development of the Konocti Realty web site, located at konoctirealty.com.
Since Konocti Realty is a family-owned company that has been successfully selling real estate in Lake County for over 40 years, BitSculptor worked closesly with Owner/Broker Stacey Mattina to ensure that the site's branding and message were consisten with the strong brand already in place for Konocti Realty.
The site was designed using the colors and playful feel of the Konocti Realty logo, creating a cohesive and professional look and feel across the entire site.
BitSculptor developed custom site management tools which allow Konocti Realty staff to update their blog, email lists, agent profiles, and various site pages through a simple, secure, browser-based interface.
The site also includes BitSculptor's powerful Lake County MLS search tools, allowing visitors to easily search the Lake County MLS. Visitors can also create a myKonocti account and save favorite MLS listings and searches to their profile for later retrieval. Visitors can also subscribe to receive an email update whenever a new listing is added to the MLS which mathces their search criteria.

Riverside Community Church site goes live with enhanced content management and secure online member directory
When an fast-growing urban church began to look for a company to partner with in developing an outstanding web presence, BitSculptor's range of services appealed to them because of our mix of quality, custom site development coupled with powerful online site administration tools (OAF).
The new Riverside web site features our new "myChurch" application which combines custom homepages for site visitors with a secure, online member directory. Visitors to the site can sign up for a myRiverside account and gain immediate access to a personal homepage which they can customize themselves to display just the information they're interested in. Additionally, site users who want to be listed in the online directory can apply for permission to be listed. (Note: Church staffers must approve the application before the user can gain access to the directory, keeping the directory private and secure.)
With a growing weekly attendance of over 1,200, Riverside will be using the site primarily as a means of communication to current and potential attenders. Audio, video, text, and photo content is spread throughout the site and updated by a group of site administrators.

Interactive Bed & Breakfast mapping application completed.
As a big player in the highly competitive online BB information market, 1BBWeb saw interactive mapping capabilities as something which would help to encourage people to visit the web site while acting as a selling point to subscribing BBs who pay for listings on the site.
BitSculptor developed the worldwide interactive maps to plug into the site's existing database of thousands of BBs. Coupled with powerful server-side GIS (Geographical Information System) software, interactice maps of major continents (currently North and South America, Europe, and Australia) are produced on the fly as requested by web site visitors. Visitors are able to quickly see which BBs are located near their vacation areas, clicking on locations for more information about specific BBs.

Block Adobe Acrobat PDF Trojan Attacks
If you are running Windows XP and Internet Explorer 7, be sure to update your Adobe AcrobatPDF Reader software to avoid falling prey to a new Trojan horse virus that is making the rounds.
Essentially, a newly discovered flaw in Adobe's Acrobat Reader let hackers place a Trojan horse virus in a PDF file, whichis then sent via email (often with convincing subject lines such as Invoice, Statement, or Bill.) Opening the PDF file infects your system with the virus.
Adobe PDF software has built-in automatic updates that will eventually update the software to patch the problem, but we recommend doing it now to stay safe.

The extensive Instruction Manual for Assembly, Finish, and Setup of the OB-250 Banjo Kit has been completed for client Gold Tone of Titusville, FL. Originally written and photographed by banjo setup specialist Richie Dotson, the text and images were modified and formatted to fit into the overall Gold Tone site structure.
Although it is an extensive guide, effective use of hyperlinks and standard navigation tools make it easy to browse and understand.
