Riverside Community Church site goes live with enhanced content management and secure online member directory

When an fast-growing urban church began to look for a company to partner with in developing an outstanding web presence, BitSculptor's range of services appealed to them because of our mix of quality, custom site development coupled with powerful online site administration tools (OAF).

The new Riverside web site features our new "myChurch" application which combines custom homepages for site visitors with a secure, online member directory. Visitors to the site can sign up for a myRiverside account and gain immediate access to a personal homepage which they can customize themselves to display just the information they're interested in. Additionally, site users who want to be listed in the online directory can apply for permission to be listed. (Note: Church staffers must approve the application before the user can gain access to the directory, keeping the directory private and secure.)

With a growing weekly attendance of over 1,200, Riverside will be using the site primarily as a means of communication to current and potential attenders. Audio, video, text, and photo content is spread throughout the site and updated by a group of site administrators.

Rich text editing capabilities added to OAF site administration toolset

We are proud to announce the addition of rich text editing to our already powerful OAF site content administration toolset. This gives our clients the ability to easily format the text placed on their sites by changing font face, size, color, etc in an interface very similar to MS Word and other industry-standard word processors.

Unlike many online rich text editors, ours is platform and browser independent, allowing both Mac and PC users, using Netscape and Internet Explorer, to maintain their site's content in a rich text enviroment.

Employee opinion survey site completed.

Getting employee feedback is vital to the health of any organization. But as organizations increase in size, it becomes more difficult to get that feedback and compile it into a useable format.

Survey Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Peoria, IL needed an efficient way to survey approximately 15 employees. BitSculptor created an online survey application wherein employees create anonymous login accounts, allowing them to "Save" their current survey feedback and return to it until they decide to submit the completed survey (which has approximately 40 questions).

On the administration side, survey answers can be easily viewed in real-time, or complete summaries can be printed from the site for further analysis. At a glance, administrators can look at the answers given to specific questions, even going as far as to break the answers down by employee workgroup.

Employee anonymity is preserved at all times by allowing employees to create their own unique, password-protected "survey accounts."
